poss. FOSTER: B.A. from ST EDMUND HALL 10 July 1601, M.A. 12 Dec. 1605 (s. William, of Geeler, co.Denbigh) rector of Farnborough, Berks. 1606, his will dated 9 July 1646, proved 8 Feb. following; father of Bartholemew 1641 (ID 14675) and of Richard 1631 (ID 109477).
As Balliol was the patron of Farnborough at this time it would seem more likely that a Balliol man would be presented; however this is the only JP MA at this time in Foster. There is one who received his BA from Balliol 21 Feb. 1595-6, and it is possible that Foster has confused the two.
