Ord. deacon (Durham) Sept. 24, 1775; priest, July 13, 1777; V. of Denford with Ringstead, Northants., 1777-1811. R. of Islip, 1806-11. Will dated Oct. 12, 1810; proved Dec. 23, 1811; he left to a friend ‘all his fishing rods, fishing lines, hooks, nets, and whatsoever belongs to the Amusement of Angling.’ Cambridge Chronicle, Jan. 17, 1812, gives died ‘lately.’ (St John's Coll.
