Died Feb. 5, 1836, aged 56, being run over in London by a cab. M.I. at Tannington. His end was awful and sudden. [In the notice of death in the G. Mag., 1836, he is styled Samuel Lorey Barker, M.A., and is said to have been killed by the kick of a runaway horse in Regent's Circus.] (Venn, II. 128; C. J.
