Inherited Mileham Park, Norfolk, on the death of his father in 1809, and succeeded to the property of Henry Turnor, of Bury St Edmunds, derived through his grandmother. Took the name of Turnor before Barnwell by Royal Sign Manual, May 17, 1826. Lived in apartments at Bury St Edmunds. Antiquary. Contributed articles to the Gentleman's Magazine.
