Lent, 1817; B.A. 1818; M.A. 1821. Ord. deacon, 1817; priest, 1819. V. of Yardley, Worcs., 1821-72. During his incumbency the church pew-opener, at his bidding, ‘burnt three barrow-loads of parchments.’ Surrogate. Married Mary Philippa Artemisia, dau. of Bulkeley Philipps, and widow of John Grant, and had issue. Author, religious. Died in 1872. Doubtless brother of John (1823; CCE11317); father of next. (Al.
