Had previously matric. from St Edmund Hall, Oxford, May 20, 1812. Ord. deacon (Norwich) June 9, 1816; priest, 1817. V. of St Andrew's, Plymouth, 1824-69. His practical piety during the visitations of cholera in 1832 and 1847 will be his best claim to the grateful recollection of all classes in Plymouth.
