Ord. deacon (Gloucester) Sept. 18, 1703. V. of Longney, Gloucs., 1713. Minister of Barnwood, Gloucs. Usher of Gloucester Collegiate School; Master of Sir Thomas Rich Hospital, Gloucester. Died at Bredon, Worcs.; buried there, Nov. 11, 1728. FOSTER gives in addition that he was V. Haresfield Glos. 1712, lecturer at St John Gloucester. (with ref. to Rawlinson(fo) 1.p.1.iv.195 & xix.10; Foster Ind. Eccl., G. Mag. vii p.374)
However, the Henry Abbot who was V of Haresfield died in 1737 and appears to be someone different - see ID 116933
Current (2013) on line Venn states 'another of these names matric. at Oxford some years earlier who seems to have been V of Haresfield.'
