WALKER REVISED, 182: Vicar of Godshill, Isle of Wight, 1638. Sequestered before 20 Dec. 1644. Perhaps Rector of Windermere, 1644-5. Living in Isle of Wight, 1646. Rector of Chale, Isle of Wight, 15 Aug. 1648, but another minister admitted there on cession of predecessor, 28 Nov. 1648. Rector of Spennithorne, Yorks, 1649-1663, admitted on death of his father-in-law Francis Wyvill.

Crosfield's published diary (which is not a full transcript), makes no mention of either his ordinations, his university preaching licence nor his service as Curate at Iffley.
