It is probable that the curate 'Evans' for Caversham for 1585-6 is the same as that for Nettlebed for 1587-8, given the chronology and the close proximity of the livings.
The two livings of Pishill and Nettlebed are almost adjacent; and 'David' should have been struck out for the clergyman's forename under Pishill 14/05/1587; see the entry under Nettlebed for the same day.
