Alexander, merchant and sheriff of Exeter), chaplain to Charles I., rector of Edburton, Sussex, 1625, of St. Martin's, Ludgate, 1626, until sequestered 1646; of Gray's Inn 1633, licenced 31 Oct., 1627, to marry Frances Armstrong, late of Corby Kesteven, co.
