Thomas, vicar of St. Chads, Shrewsbury); B.A. from Exeter Coll. 10 July, 1601, M.A. 22 May, 1604, supd. 23 Jan., 1609-10, for licence to preach, B.D. 6 May, 1611, D.D. 21 June, 1613; a member of Middle Temple 1609, chaplain to Prince Henry, to James I. and to Charles I., rector of Wiston, Sussex, 1607-13, vicar of Old Windsor 1610, canon residentiary and dean of Hereford 1624, rector of Worthen, Salop, 1620, and of Lanteglos, Cornwall, 1612, until his death at Worthen 23 Sept., 1631; buried in the chancel; brother of Sampson.
