Ord. deacon and priest (Peterb.) May 7, 1573. Practised as a physician. Left the bulk of his property to found a Free Grammar School (Perse School) in Cambridge. The school was removed from Free School Lane to Hills Road, in 1888. Died Sept. 30, 1615. Buried in Caius College Chapel. M.I. Will proved (P.C.C.) 1615.
