Foster: (as Gwillim or Guillin); son of Peter (Lyndon) of St Margaret's Westminster, brewer; school Islington (Mr Vowell); baptised there 11 Feb. 1629/30; adm. St John's Cambridge 6 Aug. 1645 aged 15; migrated to Oxford, MAGDALEN HALL and BA 2 Nov. 1648; Fellow of Magdalen College 1648 by the parliamentary visitors; MA 29 May 1651; incorp.
