  Minister of St John's by 3 Feb. 1646/7 when he married Philippa Gyll, and their three children baptised there 1648-52; and on the appointment of a parish registrar there on 30 Nov. 1653, described as 'Nicholas Ultramare of Geneva Minister of Gods Words in the above said parish': Cornwall Record Office, Register DDP93/1/1, 2 (information we owe to Angela Doughty, 18 October 2016).
