  Foster: son of John of Kendal, Westmoreland, p.p., QUEENS matric 18 Nov. 1680 aged 18; BA 1685; MA 1688; curate of Dursely; R of Westonbirt 1702 and of Uley 1709(?), all in Gloucs., See Rawl v. 448 and Foster Ind. Eccl.
  
  BUT may be some confusion here - death in 1717 at Uley strongly suggests that there may be two different Thomas Jacksons - one a BA being at Uley and the other, an MA, at Westonbirt 1703-1737; also date of curacy at Dursley also suggests that this was the JJ at Uley, but left here for now as MA noted on this appointment.
