Cardigan, arm., TRINITY matric. 7 July 1821 aged 18; scholar 1822-31; BA 1826; MA 1831; fellow 1831-42; BD 1839; philosophical lecturer and tutor 1831-442; dean 1830; rhetoric lecturer and vice-president 1840; held various curacies 1829-42; wrote Nos 80, 86 and 87 of "Tracts for the Times". Died 1 May 1865; father of Antony C. and John Edward.
