Cannnot account for this record of appointment. It appears in Bannister's Institutions as well. But no trace of this name in university records or elsewhere as rector of Pontesbury portion in 1807. One of this name (BA not MA) in 1815 to 1829 (CCEd 20770); is it error or an appointment in 1807 which annulled until 1815?
