A member of the Powell family of Sutton Court, Diddlebury. A justice of the peace there. Served as curate at Diddlebury for almost forty years despite holding the living of Pennington. This information from Martin Speight's history of the parish church at Diddlebury.
Monument seen by RAB (an ex-pupil of Dr Speight, and therefore inclined to believe this!) in Diddlebury church, 2018.
Died 17 May 1805 aged 78. Described as MA.
