Fielding (1910) records MI: 'In the year 1794 were buried near this monument Susannah Rebecca and John Eveleigh; also in 1795 John; in 1800 James; in 1803 Thomas and William George; in 18705 Susannah; and in the year 1815, when this was made, Charlotte and Georgiana, children of the Revd William and Susannah Eveleigh. In the year 1830 the remains of the Revd William Eveleigh LLB were deposited in the same vault. He departed this life the 29th of October in the 74th year of his age, having been 38 years the vicar of this parish'. Also mistakenly claims a canon of Rochester.
