SEE OXFORD DNB: 1679-1720, orientalist, which states that he was ordianed deacon before he was 20; that he Curate of Swavesey by 1701, probably on recommendation of Bishop Simon Patrick; and in 1710 became chaplain to Robert Harley.Ordination as priest only
