Suffered great persecution. Imprisoned at the Gatehouse, Westminster for three years. Obtained a reversal of his sequestration in 1652. Restored, 1660. R. of St Vigor's, Fulbourn, Cambs., 1661. V. of West Waltham, Essex, c. 1664. Author, religious. Died at Waltham Abbey. Buried at West Waltham, Feb. 29, 1671-2. Will, 'Prerogative Court of Canterbury.'P.C.C. Brother of Michael (1621).
