St. John's Coll., matric. 19 Oct., 1666, aged 18, B.A. 7 March, 1675-6; incorporated at Cambridge 1690, and M.A. from King's Coll. 1690; perhaps rector of Ham, near Sandwich, Kent, 1678, until his death 12 Sept., 1734; Gent’s Mag vol 4 p. 511, Sep 1734. Father of ID 432.
  
  Venn has the entry M.A. from KING'S, 1690. S. of Michael, of Llannilling, Montgomery, clerk. Matric. (St John's College, Oxford) Oct. 19, 1666, age 18; B.A. (Oxford) 1675-6. Ord. deacon ;literate,; May 17, 1668. R. of Ham, Kent, 1678-1734; in 1729 he was supposed to be dead and the Archdeacon's court put the rectory under sequestration accordingly. But he was then at Wolverhampton and subsequently returned to his rectory. Preb. of Wolverhampton, 1690. Head Master of Wolverhampton Grammar School. Died Sept. 12, 1734. (Hasted, IV. 183; G.
