Easter, 1797; B.A. 1801; M.A. 1804. Ord. deacon, 1802; C. of Walton, Liverpool, 1802. C. of Meriden, Warws. C. of Petworth, Sussex, 1814-19. Never beneficed and went into semi-retirement in the Isle of Man, his health having been delicate from paralysis of the throat said to have been caused "by entering his College rooms when newly painted." Married, Jan. 1803, Mary, only dau. of Samuel Weston, tanner, of Halewood, near Liverpool. Died Mar. 25, 1853, at Birkenhead; buried at the Abbey Church. Father of the above and the next.
