Senior proctor, 1618. Ord. deacon and priest (London) Mar. 4, 1609/10, age 26. Minister of Longstanton St Michael, Cambs., 1616-26. Travelled with Sir Dodmore Cotton, on an embassy to Persia, by the Cape. Buried him at Kasbin and returned by the same route in 1629. R. of Cheadle, Staffs., 1630-45, sequestered. Died before 1660.
