Fielding (1910) gives MI at Horton Kirby, where buried 30/9/1801. 'Also in this vault are deposited the remains of the Revd Richard Williams, only surviving brother of the above Thomas Williams, late of Christ's College Cambridge, AM, many years vicar of this parish, one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this county: in discharging the duties of his sacred function he was correct and exemplary as a magistrate, active and upright. He died 15th of September 1801, aged 55 years.'
