  Fielding (1910) records MI: 'Here lyeth the body of the Revd Mr Edward Harby LLB, late rector of this parish, in hope of a blessed resurrection through the merits of his Saviour Jesus Christ: he died the 22nd of May 1761 aged 61 years. He was son to Francis Harby esq.
