Chaplain to the Bishop of Salisbury. Preb. of Sarum, 1619-30. V. of Aldburne, Wilts., 1620. R. of Harrietsham, Kent, 1630-46, sequestered. Died 1680, aged 89. Buried at Staple. Father of [John 1639] and perhaps brother of Aylmer (1618). (A. Gray.)
