C. at Teversham, Cambs., in 1608. Doubtless the 'Thomas Kempe a scholler at Cambridge' mentioned in the will of Richard (1551) Kempe, of Gissing, Norfolk, 1599. One of these names of Thwaite, Esq., afterwards of Norwich, clerk. Will (P.C.C.) dated Mar. 23, 1667; proved, 1670.(Suffolk Man. Fam., II. 227, 228, 236.)
