Foster: Hughes, Robert, s. Moses, of Withyford, Salop, cler. Christ Church, matric 22 Feb 1714-15, aged 18; BA 1719, MA 1722.
(But, note, that there is another Hughes, Robert, s. Charles, of Forstrey, co. Monmouth, arm. Christ Church, matric 13 Apr 1717, aged 17. But this man appears, according to Foster, not to have graduates.)
It seems likely that the graduate of Christ Church is also the incumbent of South Stoke, as the patron was Christ Church.
Do all these institutions relate to the same person?
There seems to be a strong prima facie case that the rector of South Stoke was also the curate of North Stoke in 1734.
