Married, July 3, 1822, Katherine, dau. of Col. James Lowther, M.P., and had issue. Died Jan. 21, 1841, at Carlsruhe, Germany. Our Chapter Act Book describes him as B.C.L. In some legal proceedings reported in the Morning Chronicle, June 17, 1840, he is persistently called by counsel Dr and his degree is given as D.D. Brother of Thomas H. (1814).
