Fielding (1910) gives MI: 'In a vault on the south side of the Churchyard lieth the body of the late Reverend Thomas Moore DD, fifty years rector of this church; he was collated to it July 25th 1719, and rebuilt the parsonage in ...1735; he was also appointed minister of St Botolph's without Aldersgate, in London, May 7th. He was a conscientious and virtuous Chrsitain, and an able and faithful clergymsn, a tender and affectionate relation, and a just and upright man. He was born Sept 9th 1689, and died July 19th 1769.'
