If the entries below are correct, it has to be assumed that William Barker was a prebendary of Hereford, and vicar general there in 1553 (noted as 'catholic') for 11 years before he even received the first of the minor orders; presumably this is not impossible? The entries of Langdon Hills and Mucking, Essex have yet to be entered below, but they fit - and some of the ordinations below are linked to Langdon Hills.
