R of Northill, Cornwall 1613; R of Lambeth 1618; domestic chaplain to Dr Abbot, Archbp of Canterbury, one of the brethren of the Savoy Hospital; R of All HAllows, Bread Street 1626 and of Acton, Middx 1627 until deprived 1643; provost of Chelsea College. Son of John Fairclough, cook to Dr Lawrence Humphrey, presidnet of Magdalen, and afterwards cook at Corpus Christi.
