  Foster: son of Humphrey, of Bristol, gent., TRINITY matric. 9 Mar. 1713/14 aged 17; BA 1717; MA 1720; R of Breane and of Uphill, Somerset 1725. [Foster then gives him as V of Wiveliscombe in 1754 - there is no evidence for this, but his son Benjamin (CCEd 43159) was V there from 1754 and Venn says of this 'doubtless' in respect of the son).
