OXFORD DNB: 'Peter Moffet (d. 1617), a younger brother [of Thomas Moffet, 1553-1604], was rector of Fobbing, Essex, from 1592 until his death in the autumn of 1617. He wrote two works of protestant divinity. He was married to Jane Parry.'
