MA at time of presentation to Hagworthingham.
Not in Venn.
Two other Ashcrofts, both described as Rector of Hagworthingham, but neither seem to be right (one could be if the forename is wrong, but the forename appears in two different volumes).
John (nd at Hagworthingham) but only mat in 1708 and not MA according to Venn:
Adm. sizar (age 18) at ST JOHN'S, Sept. 11, 1707. S. of Edward, grazier. B. at Wiggenhall, Norfolk. School, Bedford. ' Matric. 1708; B.A. 1711-2. Ord. deacon (London) Mar. 22, 1712-3; priest (Lincoln) Aug. 15, 1714. R. of Hagworthingham, Lincs. R. of Fishtoft, 1717.
and THOMAS (MA and ceases as Fellow of Clare in 1708):

AB: My man does die in right place, and no MA mentioned!
