Is this dob right, as it conflicts with Venn (admitted Jesus College, 1672, aged 15?
VENN (as AISCOUGH): Adm. sizar at JESUS, Apr. 8, 1672, age 15. S. of Henry, R. of Dunnington, Yorks. Migrated to Trinity, July 8, 1675; ' Matric. 1675; B.A. 1676-7. Sur-master, St Paul's School, 1685-1713. Head Master, 1713-21. R. of Southwark, Surrey, 1722-42. Died Feb. 22, 1741-2.
Resigned as High Master of St. Paul's School on 19 May 1721, giving to the Court of Assistants grounds of age and health, hoping that country air and a little rest from business might 'establish his health and enable him to enjoy what his Majesty has pleased to bestow upon him', i.e. Rectory of St. Olave,Southwark, Sir M. McDonnell, The Registers of St. Paul's School, 1509-1748 (1977), 267-8. (McDonnell also notes sources in 1724 and 1727 which describe him as MA, which is his degree in Ely records, but not recorded in Venn).
