He can have held the living for but a short time, since George Martin was instituted rector, June 6, 1796. His education at the expense of the Queen is explained by this notice: died lately at Wilton, near Taunton in her 90th year, Mrs Muttlebury, foster-mother to the Princess-Royal of England, the present Queen of Wurtemberg.
