The links of the Oxford records have been made largely on the basis of Foster, but there is no other WH educated at Oxford in this period who fits. The only other WH was LLD from Cambridge (1665), DCL (Oxford) 1676, and became chancellor of London.

Wadham Coll., matric 19 May 1670, aged 14; BA from New Inn Hall 20 Jan 1673-4, MA 1676, in orders, schoolmaster and curate of Ewelme, Oxon, rector of Wilcote 1680-3, and vicar of North Leigh, Oxon, 1680-4, vicar of Pirton, Oxon, 1702, until his death; buried at Ewelme 23 Jan 1713-14.
