Lecturer at St Nicholas, Newcastle, 1657, 1660. R. of Holy Trinity, Dorchester, 1663-70. R. of Spofforth, Yorks. Died in London, Dec. 1679. Benefactor to the University by the foundation of the Knightbridge Professorship of Moral Theology. Also benefactor to Wadham College, and gave a library for the use of the clergy of Chelmsford.
