There are a number of WLs who were at Jesus at this time. Only one of these graduated both BA and MA from the College, but it is not entirely clear that Foster is confident in his identification of which WL graduated thus.
(1) Lloyd, William, s. John, of Abergelly, co. Denbigh, gent. Jesus Coll., matric. 8 June 1703, aged 18; perhaps BA 15 Oct 1707, MA 9 July 1710; possibly bar-at-law, Gray's Inn, 1716, and bencher 1733. See Foster's Judges and Barristers. (But, if this man is our ordinand, it is clear that he did not go on to a career in the law. Note, however, the possibilities recorded by Foster that (i) it was another WL who graduated BA and MA; and /or (ii) that this person did not go on to a career in the law.
(2) Lloyd, William, s. Tho., of St Asaph (town), co. Denbigh, gent. Jesus Coll., matric 11 Feb 1703-4, aged 17; perhaps BA from New Inn Hall 18 Mar 1707-8, but see next entry.
(3) Lloyd, William, s. David, of Merioneth (town), pp. Christ Church, matric. 23 Feb 1703-4, aged 17; perhaps BA from New Inn Hall 18 Mar 1707-8, but see preceding entry.
