Born Cambridgeshire, 1692 or 1693, son of John Cory, whom he succeeded at Impington.
Curate of Landbeach, where his father was Rector, at time of ordination as deacon, 26 Feb. 1715/1716; by time of ordination as priest, 22/9/1717, he was chaplain of King's College.
Could this be the same as John Cory, Rector of Ash, Kent in 1738? There is a John Cory in Al. Ox. who would also fit the Kent date.
