R. of Wintringham, Lincs., 1785-1824, and of Thornhill, Yorks., 1793-1824. Assumed the name of Savile, pursuant to the will of his aunt, Sept. 28, 1807. Succeeded his brother as 7th Earl of Scarbrough, June 17, 1832. Married, Nov. 5, 1785, Anna Maria, dau. of Julines Herring, Esq., of Essex.
