Main evidence so far is in G. Mag, reporting his death in 1819 (1819, Part 2, Vol. 89) which states he was vicar of Thurnby and of Evington, both, Leicester, dio. Lincoln. www.lincstothepast.com (Lincolnshire records)in list of presentations gives him presented to Thurnby 29 Sep 1808 and states it is 'the same John Allinson' which would presumably mean it was his second institution there - earlier in 1804. The reappointment in 1808, if this is so, may have been wrongly allocated to Anthony Allison (5375), in error?
