Venn addendum states he was ord priest by Hereford 9 Sep.1693 although he is described as deacon in his holding of the deacon's portion of Holdgate, Salop.
(Shropshire Archives online (acc. 28/6/2015) - (SA-IMG433) from the Antiquarian notes and drawings of the 18th century collected by William Mytton which is a manuscript copy of the monumental inscription at Condover church - this William Daker died 19 Feb 1719, aged 53, 'rector of Selattyn and of Westbury and deacon of Houllgate').
