Well-known 'non-conformist/puritan' minister; see comment at ID 137624 re-priesting ordination. Matthews 'Calamy revised' doubts whether he was actually ejected from Kelmarsh - his bishop turned a 'blind eye' and allowed him to preach etc. for some time at Brampton, Hunts. Died 1664.
