Appointed Chaplain, E.I.C., 1815; at Palamcottah, 1816-21; at Poonamallee, 1821-2; on furlough, 1822-4; Chaplain at St George's, Madras, 1824-6. P.C. of St Andrew's, Ham, Surrey, 1832-47. Died Nov. 2, 1847, aged 58, at Hastings. Buried at Ham. Succeeded as P.C. by his son, the Rev. Thomas G. P.
