Foster:
born in London, s. Dav., of "Gall" (France), cler. St. John's Coll., matric. 9 July, 1700, aged 18; B.C.L. 1706, D.C.L. 1711; admitted to Merchant Taylors' school 1692, born 30 Nov., 1681; chaplain to the English merchants at Oporto, rector of Chalfont St. Peter, Bucks, 1725, and of South Warnborough, Hants, 1728, until he died 16 Oct., 1761.
