Michs. 1791; Scholar; B.A. 1795; M.A. 1800. Ord. deacon (Norwich) Feb. 21, 1796; priest, Dec. 22, 1799. R. of Botley, Hants., 1803-54. Died Dec. 5, 1854, aged 81, at Botley. Father of the James Scott (1822), John T. W. (1830) and Stephen C. (1833). (G. Mag., 1855, I. 215.)
  
  However, in a communication of 23.10.2007, Richard Baker informs us that in fact he was not the father of Stephen Cattley Baker, as here suggested
