Fielding (1910) gives MI: Beneath in this chancel are deposited the mortal remaind of the Rev Samuel Tiollnrook, late Rector and vicar of this parish, and formerly fellow and tutor of St Peter's College, Cambridge, who died on the 20th day of May, 1835, in the 52nd year of his age. His faithful discharge of his pastoral duties and his many acts of benevolence and charity will long live in the grateful remembrance of his parishioners; the master of his College and several members of the Society have united to erect this tablet, as a small testimony of their friendship, and of their sense of his kind, social and affectionate disposition.'
